What Do You See?

Numbers 13:30-33

When we begin to move into what God has promised we often see the difficulties and impossibilities. These become "giants" to our eyes and fill our heart with fear and doubt.

Spiritual advancement requires faith, and unbelief will never see beyond the difficulties. There become insurmountable obstacles before us because we see with our eyes, not our hope. We should be confessing the power of God over all that is before us. Unbelief looks at obstacles; faith looks at God. 

Stop confessing negative words that will detour you from your promise! Believe in what God has spoken and move forward in faith.

Stir It Up

2 Timothy 1:5-7

1. Church in America seems to be at a stall, not knowing or just not responding to what to do next.
2. This dwindles down to the local church.
3. This character then becomes personal with those who make a body of believers

What Is Needed First

Genesis 2:8-9; Genesis 2:15-17

Sown throughout the Bible is the prerequisite to believe. Realizing that through obedience we will be blessed beyond measure. The Bible never promises that we will have an easy road or a life that is candy cotton and amusement park existence. But it does promise us that we will have our needs provided for and have Eternal life. We shall never die!

Where Do They Hide?

Psalm 139

God has perfect knowledge of man! No wonder, He created man in His own image and likeness. Humanity spends their lives seeking things to replace God and never are they satisfied. 

Finding a place to hide from the One who knows the very depths of the soul and understands every thought. God is everywhere, even to the deepest of the seas and also the heavens and to the depths of darkness. 

Finding Shelter In The Lord

Psalm 61:1-4

When times appear to be overwhelming and exhausting, then that is the time to rise in prayer and cry out to the Lord. He will hear you and take you to the place that is higher than yourself. An area of shelter and protection where no one can interrupt you nor bruise your hopes and heart.

Three Steps To Go Forward

Text: Exodus 14:15-18

1. Be Courageous
2. Have Faith
3. Go Forward

 

The law of the Christian church is to advance.

Fear and faith cannot dwell in the same heart; if we trust God, we need not be afraid.

God never brings his Church or people into positions from which retreat is necessary, or in which advance is impossible.

Being Positioned By The Lord

Psalm 37:23

There are so many people today in the church seeking position instead of being positioned by the Lord!

His Kingdom, which we belong to, is a Kingdom of perfect order.

Each of us needs an encounter with the Lord! God’s GPS is the Holy Spirit. His system of communication outside your home is not Google but Holy Spirit.

The Phenomenon Of Your Existence

Text: Luke 1:46-55

1. Faith opens our lips in praise to God, while unbelief silences us (2 Cor. 4:13).
2. Mary is blessed with women but not above women.
3. Mary yielded herself to the Holy Spirit (Rom. 12:1) knowing full well that she would experience shame and misunderstanding

We see that in these scriptures that there is a designed path to following God’s will for our lives.

The Wonders Of Christmas

Text: Luke 1:26-38

Applicable wonders during this Christmas season.

1. Faith opens our lips in praise to God, while unbelief silences us.

2. Mary is blessed among women but not above women.

3. Mary yielded herself to the Holy Spirit knowing full well that she would experience shame and misunderstanding.

4. The Gift from God is the greatest of all the wonders!

 

You Have A Song In Your Heart

Text: Hebrews 10:25

The hour and day we live people do not want to be together in church or any community gathering where praise and worship is the sound of appreciation unto the Lord!

The Church is not necessarily shrinking in size, but instead, she has become a Church quiet by the lack of a song.

Everyone has a song in there heart! When you gave your heart to the Lord, He put a new song there.
