Text: Luke 4:28; Luke 4:39-42. Luke 4 offers a wonderful paradigm for considering the nature and strategy of evangelistic outreach. If that were not sufficient, the story is structured in such a way as to provide the reader with fertile resources for continuing to probe the nature of belief and of commitment. There is a wealth of valuable resources throughout this whole chapter of Luke 4. We should never respond through human pressure but only by the direction of God – that is how Jesus worked His whole ministry here on this earth. We have a Divine Agenda to keep not a secular humanistic timetable to relax on!

The only way to grow in faith is to accept new challenges and trust God to give you victory. Do not pray for easy lives, pray to be better men and women. Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers; pray for power equal to your tasks. I believe it is time to shout. The silence has been deafening for to long. Lets make some noise and let the enemy know we are not down but we are taking the city! (Back our families, our promises, our ministries, our dreams, and our blessings. Text: Luke 9:23-27 The Cross of Christ enables us to enter into the Throne of Grace and obtain God’s Mercy and Grace in our time of need. This Cross – is different than any cross that was ever used to punish a criminal or even to bring shame! This Cross – held the Creator of the world not by three nails but by a promise to redeem mankind. We have now an Eternal Hope that will not fade away or disappoint. The Cross of Christ took the sting out of death and the victory from the grave. Hell knows the power of the Cross and is constantly reminded of the Blood that dripped down its rugged surface. Doing Good
Monday May 20, 2013
Monday May 20, 2013
Text: Galatians 6:1-10 Doing good and not becoming weary is often difficult. The reason for this is that there is so much good to be done in a world that turns from the Lord. Even in the Church we find that there are so many people needing help more than ever before. This is not a negative but a positive response to the need and also an obedience unto the Lord.

Sunday May 19, 2013
Text: Genesis 2:15-17; Genesis 3:15; Isaiah 9:6 The OT is the record of the two seeds in conflict; the NT is the record of the birth of Christ and His victory over Satan through the cross. God sent His only begotten Son at the proper time to save mankind from destruction and death. The struggle between people and temptation (devil) has continued for centuries and victory comes to those who proclaim Christ in their hearts. This battle between the serpent (devil) and The Seed (Jesus) is witnessed through history. At the tomb that Resurrection morning, the final blow (heal) crushed the head of the serpent! The rebellion of mankind toward a giving and compassionate God is what triggered the coming of Jesus to suffer such a death and rise up in such a life-giving Resurrection!
