Faith Has A Story
Thursday Oct 10, 2013
Thursday Oct 10, 2013
Text: 2 Corinthians 2:12-17; 2 Corinthians 3:1-4; 2 Corinthians 3:17
I have often reflected and stated boldly, “We as Christians, are
walking advertisements of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His power!"
Our lives as Christians are not a fiction novel or story, in other words, literature in the form of prose, short stories and novels, which describes imaginary events and people. An invention or fabrication as opposed to fact! But on the contrary, we are non-fiction stories, which are stories that are based on facts, real events, and real people, as we read in the Word of God! We tell the story of Jesus Christ!
Just what is the title of your epistle in this life? What would the forward of your story say? How would the end be written?

Three Stages of Identity
Tuesday Sep 03, 2013
Tuesday Sep 03, 2013
Text: 2 Samuel 7:18; 1 Corinthians 15:10; Leviticus 18:3; 20:22
As we look at these “Three Stages of Identity” it is very clear that as a Christian, a believer, these stages are part of our relationship with God and this physical world we live in now.
Being structurally sound in your identity states that you have built your house (your being) on the “Rock” not on the sand. (Matthew 7:24-28) So many have built on the sands of this world and their identity is in crisis! An identity that can be repaired and a character restored if one would call out to God and recognize just who they are, what they are, and where they are!

High Places

Monday Jul 29, 2013
Adam and Eve were given a command from the God not to eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.
Genesis 2:17
17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
They were to trust totally in the relationship they had with the Lord and not set any other relationships before Him nor to have any other aspirations but to serve Him in the pureness of holiness. This world we dwell in today has set up high places to worship God at and these places are not approved of the Lord. The Word speaks such to us that we should worship God and Him alone!

From Profession to Confession

Text: Luke 4:28; Luke 4:39-42. Luke 4 offers a wonderful paradigm for considering the nature and strategy of evangelistic outreach. If that were not sufficient, the story is structured in such a way as to provide the reader with fertile resources for continuing to probe the nature of belief and of commitment. There is a wealth of valuable resources throughout this whole chapter of Luke 4. We should never respond through human pressure but only by the direction of God – that is how Jesus worked His whole ministry here on this earth. We have a Divine Agenda to keep not a secular humanistic timetable to relax on!

Doing Good
Monday May 20, 2013
Monday May 20, 2013
Text: Galatians 6:1-10 Doing good and not becoming weary is often difficult. The reason for this is that there is so much good to be done in a world that turns from the Lord. Even in the Church we find that there are so many people needing help more than ever before. This is not a negative but a positive response to the need and also an obedience unto the Lord.

What Triggerd It All?
Sunday May 19, 2013
Sunday May 19, 2013
Text: Genesis 2:15-17; Genesis 3:15; Isaiah 9:6 The OT is the record of the two seeds in conflict; the NT is the record of the birth of Christ and His victory over Satan through the cross. God sent His only begotten Son at the proper time to save mankind from destruction and death. The struggle between people and temptation (devil) has continued for centuries and victory comes to those who proclaim Christ in their hearts. This battle between the serpent (devil) and The Seed (Jesus) is witnessed through history. At the tomb that Resurrection morning, the final blow (heal) crushed the head of the serpent! The rebellion of mankind toward a giving and compassionate God is what triggered the coming of Jesus to suffer such a death and rise up in such a life-giving Resurrection!

His Love For Mankind
Sunday May 19, 2013
Sunday May 19, 2013
Text: John 3:16-18 The question demands to be asked: What did this love cost God? These scriptures define the and express the genuine self-giving nature of God in having sent His only Son on an unrepeatable mission into the world! The judgment of God at the fall of Adams and Eve in the Garden of Eden brought about a justice from the Lord that has made it possible for all mankind to be reconciled back to God by the forgiveness of sins through the shed blood of Jesus Christ!

Step Forward
Friday Jan 25, 2013
Friday Jan 25, 2013
There stood the Creator, as a man, now upon this earth to bring all mankind to the Father through Him. With compassion in His heart and the knowledge of what He could do. He has stretched out the heavens and placed the stars in their place. He had created man from the dust of the ground, which He also created. He created the Law because He was the Law. He created the Sabbath for men and He was the Lord of the Sabbath. He stretched out his hand, maybe shaking, embarrassed, but yet there was a glare of faith in his eyes coupled with hope and deep expectation. His hand, by the faith in Jesus, was made whole just like the other one!
