Text: Hebrews 10:25

The hour and day we live people do not want to be together in church or any community gathering where praise and worship is the sound of appreciation unto the Lord!

The Church is not necessarily shrinking in size, but instead, she has become a Church quiet by the lack of a song.

Everyone has a song in there heart! When you gave your heart to the Lord, He put a new song there.

Psalm 121:1-8

In the time of trouble, one seeks to find promise, protection, and prosperity. To be consoled and comforted. Brought to that place where the help is lasting and foundational.

Recognizing and reacting to the Lord and His deep concern for His children and creation. His deep love and compassion, which surrounds us with righteousness and grace. To Him we give glory, and it is Him we seek in these times.

There is an ascent in prayer and praise that will always draw you near to Him. That nearness cannot be explained in words or deeds but only by faith and trust in an Everlasting Father.

Psalm 63:1

David wrote this psalm while in the wilderness. The wilderness was a barren, desolate place where he was deprived of the comforts of home and exposed to bad weather and hostile enemies.

These things were in and of themselves enough to make the wilderness a very troubling and trying experience. David found it to be even more so for another reason. While in the wilderness he was away from the sanctuary of the Lord.

The question is not whether we, as God’s people, will have to go through wilderness experiences, but rather how to face them. It is at this point that David’s psalm offers tremendous help.

Text: Philippians 3:12-14

Some days just seem heavier and more determined to overtake your plans. To imprint your mind with worries and challenge you along with your patience!

You are serving the Master of Breakthroughs. What most do not notice is that they are situated right across from their breakthrough!

Matthew 21:1-11

This is a powerful scripture filled with truth and comparison as to what the people did when they came to worship Jesus. This is quite the seen that day! It even brought a criticism from the Pharisees about the people being so full of praise and making that praise known! Luke 19:39-40

Praise gives us a strength that we receive to break chains off of us. Often people come to church bound by their chains and they are comfortable with that. Chains will prevent your praise but praise will break your chains.

Text: Psalm 103:1-5

Being happy before the Lord and remembering all that He has done for you is an awesome opportunity to worship Him. To be exalting Him with true happiness. To be thankful for all that He has done for His children and the Kingdom! All that we are is to bless all that He is! To hallow His name from the depths of our soul!

Text: James 1:2-4

We are to rejoice in the relationship we have with the Lord. Happiness (Joy) is a choice, but on the other hand it is a command by the Lord to "rejoice", to be happy!

Joy and Faith are the result of a steadfast heart, which truly believes in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is joy in His Kingdom and it is a gift to you.

Text: 2 Corinthians 6:16-18; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; 1 John 5:20-21

Let me speak to you this morning about something that is very important to all of us that serve the Lord. Most importantly the relationship we have with Lord and how we perceive Him in our daily walk with Him.

Adam and Eve were given a command from the God not to eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

Genesis 2:17
17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

They were to trust totally in the relationship they had with the Lord and not set any other relationships before Him nor to have any other aspirations but to serve Him in the pureness of holiness. This world we dwell in today has set up high places to worship God at and these places are not approved of the Lord. The Word speaks such to us that we should worship God and Him alone!

Reading the OT and also in concurrence with the NT I find that this world has set up “High Places” of worship! We see this so clearly by watching the media discuss politics and the economy in such a way that it is as if they are speaking of gods!
