Text: Genesis 3:1-7
This amazing section of the Bible gives us the story of the “turning point” for all humanity. The decision that was made by Eve, through the craftiness of the serpent, caused a reaction that had a domino effect of God’ relationship with mankind.
This “turning point” had a rippling effect throughout the known history of mankind as recorded in the Bible and other reputable historical writings. Story after story there are testimonies of “turning points” with people, both men and women alike, which were either negative or positive but also affected others buy the decision made at the “turning point”.

Hebrews 12:1-3; Psalm 78:4;4:6-7
This text begins with a reference to the great chapter of “Faith”, Hebrews 11. Those who had lived through so much to continue forward in God’s Kingdom. Forsaking so much that they would love to have to accept what was better and that was God’s direction and His Truth.
Not changing the plan God had made to fit their own plans nor building off their own rules and cloaking them as though they were Gods. These great people of “Faith” believed God and His commands to gain what they could not yet see!
Sin Defined: The Bible describes sin as the breaking, or transgression, of God's law (1 John 3:4). It is also defined as disobedience or rebellion against God (Deuteronomy 9:7), as well as independence from God. The original translation means "to miss the mark" of God's holy standard of righteousness.

Clean Up The House
Thursday Aug 14, 2014
Thursday Aug 14, 2014
Text: Matthew 3:11-12
Keep away from mental sins (Matthew 5:27-30). A Christian's thoughts should be holy (Romans 12:2). Our fellowship with God helps us make decisions (1 Corinthians 2:6-16). Christians should please God with their thoughts (Philippians 4:8)
We must be very aware, everyday throughout our life to keep our house clean. Not just swept (where people can see but also where people cannot see) but clean and holy: Holiness is not a term from the early ages or a historical feature that was for the time in the early church! Holiness is for then and now.

Saturday Feb 01, 2014
Text: Acts 1:1-11; Acts 4:33; John 16:5-11
Grace is power: Something many people do not recognize who are born again! Grace and power go together – God’s unmerited favor, His gift of salvation, redemption and baptism come together and is infused (bathed, imparted, permeated) with the power of the Holy Spirit!
Grace is bountiful and unmerited but God finds it in His justice and mercy to gift us with such! To redeem us from a world of fear, pain and anguish that is filled with hopelessness and despair.
To promise us hope that does not fail! We are washed by the Blood of the Lamb of God and set free to worship Him. We have been given the liberty of praise and a life of service unto Him!
God has given us Grace!

Salvation: Redemptions Result
Monday Jan 13, 2014
Monday Jan 13, 2014
Text: Ephesians 1:7; Mathew 20:28
Redemption: Saving, freeing from sin, absolution (forgiveness, pardon, Freedom).
Grace: Unmerited favor; Love = Grace; Grace = Love
As Christians, believers in His saving Grace and His redeeming power, we should never forget these words! When the storms blend into life like the colors of a sunset we need to hang on to the promise of God! Not to give in to sin and temptation but too give Him praise!
Remaining in Him daily through His Grace we can join with Paul and say we trust that His Grace is sufficient! We will rejoice in that!

High Places

Adam and Eve were given a command from the God not to eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.
Genesis 2:17
17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
They were to trust totally in the relationship they had with the Lord and not set any other relationships before Him nor to have any other aspirations but to serve Him in the pureness of holiness. This world we dwell in today has set up high places to worship God at and these places are not approved of the Lord. The Word speaks such to us that we should worship God and Him alone!

Mark 6:11-13 Repentance is a very positive word in our language but can be sought as and misconstrued as negative. So many reason why, one is that pride often compels a person(s) to act as though there is no need for repentance in their life. However, when you read the Word in it application you will soon learn that repentance is a major word throughout the Bible. Jesus came that we would have an opportunity to repent and be forgiven of our sin.

Remember The Good Part 3

Monday Feb 18, 2013
Nehemiah was not interested in position, power, prestige, or possessions. He was simply interested in living in obedience to God and being of service to the people of that Jewish community. Because of his total commitment to the Lord, he was successful in rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. His motives were pure, and he never lost sight of God’s calling in his life. All should remember what Nehemiah represented here in our text. A leader with a heart for people, reminding all that repentance is what God desires. His commitment to the Lord and all that the Lord commands is a true example to those who desire to serve His Church. Never forget to remind God of the good that you are doing, not for your self-interest and promotion but unveil the blessings that God has stored up for you! His response to the need, his prayer unto God and repentance of heart and his request for God to remember his works unto those who needed to have a giving hand!
